Amen!!!

Now, after reading his book, The Problem of Poverty, I quote you the ending; his, Abraham Kuypers' (a Christian Political Reformer), prayer:

“even if the stream of unrighteousness must rise still higher, may it never be possible to say of the Christians of the Netherlands [and of us here today] that through our fault, through the lukewarmness of our Christian faith, whether in high or lower classes [whether in secular or unsecular situations], the rescue of our society [local and international] was hindered and the blessing of the God of our fathers forfeited." -Kuyper 79

Justice issues keep me up at night...

I had a meeting with OSSL's liaison today and it went on for a good two hours. We talked about all kinds of stuff and by the end of the conversation I realized that not only is fighting for and promoting justice something necessary for the betterment of mankind, but so is fellowship. Sitting down with someone you trust to talk about life, sharing and learning, is soooo redemptive!!!

For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. -Matt18:20
